Today we are in Kangaroo Island which is very near to Adelaide. We have back-tracked from Melbourne, not sure why, but that is how Cunard have planned it. As a result we will now be going back to Melbourne for a second visit. Kangaroo Island is very rural, a bit bigger than the Isle of Wight, and, naturally, has many kangaroos – we saw about 20 in the wild at various points along our tour but none close enough to get a good photo. The main farming is Merino sheep which are managed mainly for their wool. The first photo is a truck loaded with bales of wool headed for the ferry to the mainland.
The second photo looks like North Cornwall doesn’t it ?
