Back to Port Stephens. No better photos than last time we were here on March 4/5/6 2015. Extra prizes for finding that posting for 2015.
Just one picture of Nelson Head.

After 2 interesting sea days (sailing close to Wilsons Promontory and Ben Boyd National Park) we have arrived in a very wet Sydney. They need the rain — we do not !! ☔☔☔☔☔
We disembarked this morning and are now in the Novotel on Darling Harbour for 24 hours.
A very soggy view of the Opera House from our cabin this morning. In the distance you can just make out our sister ship Queen Elizabeth on her Round the World cruise. 🛳 🚢

Today we are in Kangaroo Island which is very near to Adelaide. We have back-tracked from Melbourne, not sure why, but that is how Cunard have planned it. As a result we will now be going back to Melbourne for a second visit. Kangaroo Island is very rural, a bit bigger than the Isle of Wight, and, naturally, has many kangaroos – we saw about 20 in the wild at various points along our tour but none close enough to get a good photo. The main farming is Merino sheep which are managed mainly for their wool. The first photo is a truck loaded with bales of wool headed for the ferry to the mainland.
The second photo looks like North Cornwall doesn’t it ?

Melbourne – another interesting (and very clean) city. Unfortunately the weather is upside down. It is supposed to be summer but the temperature is only around 17 degrees and it rained some of the time.
From here we are going back towards Adelaide to visit Kangaroo Island on Monday, then back for a second visit to Melbourne when the weather is meant to be better. Still, it’s better than the weather at home — “mustn’t grumble”😕😕☔️☔️☔️☔️
A couple of pictures of Melbourne when the sun was shining. The very modern building is part of the RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology). The other picture is the city behind the Yarra river.

G’day mates. In Adelaide today with all the Bruces and Sheilas.
A very beautiful city blending old and new and so clean. North Terrace is the most interesting Street as it is where Government House, State Parliament, City Museum, City Art Gallery, The War Memorial and the State Library can be found.
A couple of photos of Street scenes: (I hope you like the bronze pigs)
